Double exposure photography isn’t new, but we all just remembered how cool it looks thanks to the True Detective opening sequence. Artist Hiki Komori (a reference to the Japanese “Hikikomori” that are recluses who seek isolation and confinement) takes the practice of double exposing a photograph to a level that even True Detective might not have hit. Hiki Komori (aside from the pseudonym, we don’t know much about the artist) juxtaposes faces and bodies with mostly industrial landscapes. ...
